What is in our food that makes us fat and craves more food?

  • MSG (just Google MSG-induced obesity in mice)

  • Diet soda/colas  (combination of caffeine and aspartame creates excitotoxins and then kills brain cells)

  • Aspartame (causes formaldehyde build up in the brain) - found in the diet, artificially sweetened foods... avoid soda, gum, etc

  • High fructose corn syrup - low-cost refined sugar  (highly addictive sugar, in essence, it is the equivalent of cocaine from the cocoa plant, but is from a GMO corn plant!)

 

Eating raw fruits and vegetables is one of the best things we can do for our body.  Look for ways to add these items to your diet.

As humans, we always want to see immediate change when doing something new (I am no different) and sadly we forget that if it took 6 months or 1 year to put the weight on, we cannot expect to lose it overnight.  Remember, after eating unhealthy for so long our body needs to go through a detoxifying period before we can expect our metabolism system to work to its full potential.
